These are my favorite looks from the past weekend's Grammy Awards. The color and cut of these dresses are lovely! I also love the make up...I've decided to start focusing on my eyes too (whatever that means since I still can't apply lashes) and letting the rest be lighter.
And here are my "wouldn't wear it if it were free" styles. I'm a chic and polished kinda girl so I may never learn to appreciate mesh dresses with bathing suits underneath. Then that flesh tone, sequin dress Katy has on is not cute at all. I should say I loved her dress at the EMI party...
As adventurous as I am I cannot support Britney's dress! Katy Perry's dress was the wrong colour for her colouring; on a tanned or darker person it may have been stunning. My worst dressed also include Beyonce - I don't know what in the Sam hill she was thinking! The colour and aplique were jus' WRONG. But at least her hair didn't look jacked up this time around, though it still left much to be desired. As for Princess Rihanna, I won't call it worst dress but I cannot understand draped hip accents like that! Everything from waist up was beautiful and demure, which she needs, but that waist down action was abominable; fab make up though.

Likes: Keri Hilson, though I've seen so many iterations of that dress now. Taylor Swift's dress was stunning and age appropriate even with the cut. This was also the only time I've liked Lady Gaga's outfit...it's Armani! Pink's outfit was nice too but again, it's a fishtail hem!!
The waist of Rihanna's dress was similar to the front of Merle's (from Launch My Line) ugly dress - the Kangaroo one lol

ReplyDeleteKeri Hilson's dress was ok...guess ppl are feeling the whole nude color this year. The color of Taylor's dress was awesome! I won't even speak about Lady Gaga except to say I love her music :) Pink's outfit had the fish tail and the scales...can't appreciate it.
